YourWorkout AI Privacy Policy Addendum

Applies To: YourWorkout AI iOS app (all versions with Pro Subscription)

This Privacy Policy Addendum supplements the main YourWorkout AI Privacy Policy available at https://jamsoftinc.com/privacy-policy-apple. If there is a conflict between this Addendum and the main policy, this Addendum controls for the features described below.

What This Addendum Covers

To provide certain optional AI features, YourWorkoutAI may transmit limited user data to a third-party AI processor, Google LLC (Gemini API).

Data we may send when you use AI features:

  • User-entered text prompts (for example, workout or meal requests).

  • Basic fitness profile context (for example, fitness level, goals, selected equipment).

  • Workout history summaries used for AI insights (for example, workout name, date, duration, calories, difficulty).

  • Nutrition goals and remaining macro/calorie targets used for meal planning features.

  • Food photos that you choose to upload for meal analysis.

Who receives this data

Google LLC, through the Gemini API.

How this data is collected and sent:

Data is collected directly from your inputs and in-app records only when you initiate an AI feature. Data is transmitted using encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections.

How this data is used:

  • To generate AI outputs you request, including workout generation, training insights, meal suggestions, weekly meal plans, and food-photo analysis.

  • To return requested results to your app session.

  • To maintain service reliability, security, and abuse prevention.

  • Jamsoft Inc does not sell personal data.

Permission before sharing:

YourWorkoutAI obtains user permission before transmitting personal data to cloud AI services. If permission is not granted, cloud AI features are disabled and core app functionality remains available. You can withdraw permission at any time in the app’s Settings under Data & Privacy.

Third-party protection:

Jamsoft Inc requires third-party processors to provide privacy and security protections that are the same as or equivalent to Jamsoft Inc protections and to process data only for authorized purposes.

Data Retention

  • Local SipSpot records remain on-device until you delete them.

  • Cloud-synced records, if enabled, are retained under Apple CloudKit and iCloud controls.

  • Gemini consent status is stored locally so your choice persists.

  • Data transmitted to Google Gemini is subject to Google’s retention and processing policies.

Children’s Privacy

  • YourWorkout AI does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13.

International Processing

  • Third-party providers, including Google and Apple services, may process data in countries other than your own. Where applicable, those providers are responsible for safeguards associated with cross-border processing.

Updates to This Addendum

  • We may update this Addendum from time to time. Material updates will be reflected by updating the Effective Date and posting the revised version in our policy materials.
