Privacy Policy for Jamsoft Inc.

Jamsoft Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in our Apple applications, including a.Pro (the "App"), available through Apple's App Store.

Information We Do Not Collect Directly

We do not create Jamsoft user accounts, and we do not sell your data. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs in a.Pro. We do not ask you to provide personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, or health data in order to use the App.

Workspace Data You Create

a.Pro is a local-first productivity workspace. The App lets you create and manage workspaces, members, portfolios, projects, milestones, issues, subtasks, saved views, custom fields, dependencies, activity entries, dates, priorities, labels, estimates, and related planning details.

This workspace data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not operate a Jamsoft account server for your workspace data.

iCloud and CloudKit Sharing

a.Pro can use Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services when you choose to sync or share a workspace.

Data Storage: When you use iCloud features, workspace snapshots may be saved in the App's private iCloud container associated with your Apple ID.

Sharing: If you choose to share a workspace, the App uses Apple's CloudKit Sharing interface. Only people you invite through Apple's sharing flow can access the shared workspace, subject to the permissions you grant through Apple.

Data Access: We do not have access to the contents of your personal iCloud account or your private CloudKit records. iCloud and CloudKit processing is handled by Apple and is subject to Apple's privacy policy, available at apple.com/privacy.

Premium Cloud AI

a.Pro includes optional Premium Cloud AI features for workspace capture, planning reviews, natural-language commands, schedule suggestions, and briefs. These features are only used when you intentionally trigger them in the App, such as from the AI workspace, issue inspector, timeline, command palette, or related workspace action.

When you use Premium Cloud AI, the App may send the prompt you enter and relevant workspace context needed to complete the requested action, such as issue titles, details, project names, milestones, statuses, priorities, due dates, estimates, labels, dependencies, and related planning records, to Firebase and Google's generative AI services for processing.

Do not enter sensitive personal, confidential, or regulated information into Premium Cloud AI prompts or workspace records if you do not want that information processed by cloud AI services. Premium Cloud AI is provided through Firebase and Google services and is subject to their applicable privacy and data handling terms.

Firebase Services

a.Pro uses Firebase services to support Premium Cloud AI configuration and operation, including Firebase Core, Firebase App Check, Firebase Remote Config, and Firebase AI. Firebase Remote Config is used to retrieve configuration such as available AI model names. Firebase App Check helps protect cloud-backed features from abuse and may process app, device, or integrity signals as part of that protection.

We do not use Firebase Analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs in a.Pro.

Subscriptions and Purchases

a.Pro offers optional subscriptions through Apple's StoreKit and in-app purchase system. Purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds, payment details, and subscription status are handled by Apple. We do not receive or store your full payment card information. The App reads Apple-provided transaction entitlement information on your device to determine whether Pro features are active.

Notifications

a.Pro may request permission to send local notifications for workspace reminders. These reminders are scheduled on your device through Apple's notification system. The App also registers for remote notifications used by CloudKit to learn when iCloud-shared workspace data has changed. These notifications are used for App functionality and are not used for advertising.

App Settings

Some preferences, such as default start screen and app icon selection, may be stored on your device using Apple-provided local storage such as UserDefaults or AppStorage.

Children's Privacy

Our Apps do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13, or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction. a.Pro is intended as a productivity app for a general audience. Because we do not create Jamsoft accounts, we do not have a way to determine a user's age.

Third-Party Services

a.Pro uses the following external services only as needed for App functionality:

Apple iCloud and CloudKit for optional workspace sync and collaboration.
Apple StoreKit for optional subscriptions and purchase restoration.
Apple notifications for local reminders and CloudKit change notifications.
Firebase Remote Config, Firebase App Check, Firebase Core, and Firebase AI for Premium Cloud AI configuration, protection, and processing.
Google generative AI services for Premium Cloud AI responses when you trigger those features.

We do not integrate third-party advertising or third-party analytics services in a.Pro.

Data Retention and Control

Workspace records stored locally remain on your device unless you delete them, delete the App, or choose to sync or share them through iCloud. iCloud data is managed through your Apple ID and Apple's iCloud settings. Subscription history is managed by Apple through your Apple ID.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy where this policy is made available. Changes are effective when posted.
