Health Connect Integration

YourWorkout AI optionally integrates with Google Health Connect to sync your fitness data with other apps on your device.

Health Data We Access

When you grant permission, we read the following data from Health Connect:

  • Steps – to display your daily step count

  • Calories Burned (total and active) – to show your energy expenditure

  • Exercise Sessions – to view workouts logged in other apps

Health Data We Write

When you complete workouts in our app, we write the following to Health Connect:

  • Steps – from tracked walking/running activities

  • Calories Burned – from completed workouts

  • Exercise Sessions – workout type, duration, and calories

How We Use This Data

Health Connect data is used solely to:

  • Display your fitness metrics on the dashboard

  • Sync your workouts with other Health Connect apps

  • Track progress toward your daily goals

What We Do NOT Do

  • We do not send Health Connect data to external servers

  • We do not sell or share your health data with third parties

  • We do not use your health data for advertising

  • All data processing occurs locally on your device

Data Storage & Retention

Where Your Data Is Stored

All data is stored locally on your device only. This includes:

  • Workout history and exercise logs

  • Chat conversations with the AI coach

  • Meal scans and nutrition data

  • User profile and preferences

  • Daily fitness statistics

  1. We do not operate servers that store your personal data. Your data never leaves your device except when synced to Health Connect (which remains on your device under Google's control).

    How Long We Keep Your Data

    Your data is retained on your device until you choose to delete it. There is no automatic expiration.

    How to Delete Your Data

    You have complete control over your data. Choose either option:

    Option 1: Delete All Data (In-App)

    1. Open YourWorkout AI

    2. Tap Settings (gear icon)

    3. Scroll to Data & Privacy

    4. Tap Delete All Data

    5. Optionally check "Also delete Health Connect data"

    6. Tap Delete Everything

      This permanently removes all app data from your device.

Option 2: Uninstall the App

Uninstalling YourWorkout AI deletes all locally stored data. To also remove data written to Health Connect, open the Health Connect app and delete data for YourWorkout AI.

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you do not need to contact us to delete your data—you can do it yourself instantly.
